For the past 20 years Pastor Spencer has been involved in various areas of pastoral ministry, mainly focusing on children and youth ministries.  During that time, his heart broke as he saw families separating and going their separate ways as they walked through the church doors. His mission is to reunite families in worship and build a multi-generational Korean-American church and community.  For this purpose, Pastor Spencer and his family joined LACPC. His passion is for transformed families and individuals through healthy Christian formation, who ultimately become true disciples of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Spencer received his Master of Divinity from Azusa Pacific University and is currently working on his Ph.D. in Christian Education. Before going into ministry, he worked in the post-production industry of Hollywood for over 20 years and is still part of it in a much smaller scale. His wife Joon and son Curtis have been by his side since the beginning and continue to play vital roles in all areas of Pastor Spencer's ministries.
